This summer, Joe ITguy steps out of Facebook and into various locales around the world. Students will be taking a copy of Joe with them on their summer adventures, much like the Flat Stanley project popular among elementary school children. Joe ITguy connects with Rice University’s undergraduate students on Facebook. With about 2600 friends, including alumni, Joe sends “Happy Birthday” wishes and provides IT updates of interest to students.
